Season 2 Campaign!
I've just started getting the Season 2 campaign going. So far it seems like we have 5 characters along with the one I run cuz I can. I'm doing things a bit differently than normally would so hopefully everything will work out like I want it to. Here's a list of some of the differences I'll be running in this game than a standard D&D game:
1) Stats are rolled using a system that my friends Adam and Bob came up with. The system is rolling 18d6, which is 3 dice for each of the 6 stats). The player can put any three dice together to make a stat, no more, no less, and can't use a dice more than once. Basically this means on average you'll have at least one 18, one or two 16-17s, two or three 12-15s, and one or two 10-11s. This allows for higher than average stats at character creation in order to provide for longer lasting campaigns and faster leveling up.
2) Players may NOT choose their character's race and class. Instead they are taking a small survey. Characters are to answer the questions as honestly as they can. This is NOT asking if you were to make a character how would you act, but rather how would YOU act if you were in the world of D&D.
3) No dieties (At Character Creation)
4) Characters get their primary and secondary class at character creation, but start at 0 experience and have to earn up to third level before advancing
5) You'd like to know wouldn't you :P
Season 2 Character Surveys
Everyone took the survey located here in order to pick their alignment, race, and class. Now that everyone has taken it I've decided to upload the results of their surveys. I'm fairly pleased with the results, that is except for the Wookiee's who could lead to some interesting role playing... /me fears. Oh well, I don't think I'll have too much issue DMing this because of how I'm running the game... we'll just have to wait and see. ^_^
Elzie_Ann: Neutral Good Elf Ranger Bard
We had some issues with Elzie's character from the start. According to the main quiz she's mainly lawful good, but you can't have a lawful bard in D&D rules. So after a few other tests specifically for alignment and analyzing the stats from the main test we decided Neutral Good was the best alignment. Also, she couldn't decide between two answers on a particular question and the different answer swapped her primary and secondary classes. We decided she was closer to ranger in the long run than bard, so I let her use that as her primary.

MikeTheWarrior: Lawful Good Human Fighter Paladin
Mike's happened to be pretty straight forward. He was given the option to choose between half-orc and human for his race, and he chose Human. It does fit paladin better than half-orc would anyway, since half-orcs tend to be more chaotic. I was actually surprised getting a paladin in the group...

Warlord_Zap: Lawful Neutral Gnome Thief Ranger
Zap was a bit of a complication as well. He took the quiz a second time just for shits and giggles and ended up with a lawful evil rather then lawful good. Both quizzes came up with thief as one of the main two classes, but the rest of the classes were fairly evened out. The Alignments were just about as even as well. We decided on Lawful Neutral for the alignment and thief for the primary class. I let him pick between fighter and ranger for his secondary to which he chose ranger.

Frozen-Solid: Lawful Neutral Elf Bard Mage
I had some major issues with my character. For one, the main test came up with me as Lawful Good which doesn't work for a bard who has to be non-lawful. I definitely think that bard is a good class for me however I'm definitely sure that I'm of a lawful alignment. I decided to look through some prestige classes that would work with a mage and be the equivalent of a bard (kinda) but without the alignment issues. I came up with Virtuoso, a bardic prestige class that just requires 10 ranks in perform. So I'm going to be taking six levels of mage which honestly fits me the best I think, and tack on Virtuoso at like 6th or 7th level.

Chewbaccus: Chaotic Evil Human Mage Fighter
I put Chewy through several alignment and character tests because I was so surprised by his results here. All the tests came up with mainly Chaotic Evil and I think one Neutral Evil. So yeah... definitely fits him apparently. o_0

Sapphire: Neutral Good Elf Druid Ranger
I decided to drop Bryan from the campaign because he's not making an initiative to work on his character and doesn't seem to really care too much. In his place is Sapphire from the Gamehikers forums. I made one minor change to her alignment so she could be a Druid, but other than that it's a pretty nicely set up character.
